Modules
Postgraduate Certificate stage:
For the Postgraduate Certificate you will study three core modules:
Postgraduate Diploma stage:
For the Postgraduate Diploma you will then go onto study three core modules:
You will also need to attend a 1 week residential practical food inspection course and examination that is currently provided for the University by Billingsgate Market in London. This is a professional requirement and does not form a part of the MSc but is needed for professional registration.
If you are unable to attend these residential elements, you will graduate with an MSc Environmental Health Studies, which is a non CIEH/REHIS accredited award.
Completion of these three core modules can lead to the award of the Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Health or you can progress to the full MSc in Environmental Health.
Masters stage:
To gain the full Masters degree you will then progress to the final stage and undertake the Independent Scholarly Activity to gain the full MSc Environmental Health.

- Public Health and Wellbeing,
- Natural and Residential Environments
- The Health Impacts of Workplace and Food
Postgraduate Diploma stage:
For the Postgraduate Diploma you will then go onto study three core modules:
- Hazard and Risk Management,
- Professional Issues in Environmental Health
- Applied Interventions
